Carping on

Forget the Clegglett {v}, Alex Salmond {i}, slow vote-counts in 'Norn Iron' and the Osama conspiracies {ii}, there are more pressing things in the world.

Tomasz has now posted a nice video on his Youtube channel of a recent visit to London Aquarium.

Once you get past the shark, it's quite a relaxing video. You can almost meditate to it, and breathe out your lower chakra. As a few Facebookers and Twitterers have suggested, The Deep in East Yorkshire is a great place to visit, reputedly the world's only subaquarium

It appears that the BBC's summer weather show will be airing in July, I suspect His Loveliness may well appear in it. I hope he does: Not only to put straight the cynics {iii} who think the BBC wanted shut of The Schaf; but I think it would also be a nice sign to the Met Office, who snubbed Tomasz.

Doubtless it's not just the Beeb who are interested in him either. I bet he's more special offers than the Co-op {iv}

Finally, my linguistic prowess does not extend to Spanish (or is the following Portuguese?), so if any Iberian readers or those with knowledge or said languages, could decipher the following comment left hereon.

Desde luego este chico está para salir como quiera, con ese torso y esos pectorales, es una pena tenerlo en la TV, preferiría tenerlo en la cama.

I do have some knowledge of Latin, so I'm under the impression the above is a benign comment. Hmm.

Personally I've always found Tomasz electrifying. Adios amigos

{i} As Frankie Boyle said: "Least Salmond looks like a proper Scot; in that he has the cholestrol level of a fried egg, and his heart only beats twice an hour". Nice.

{ii} I won't believe it, until the video is shown-- preferably on You've Bin Framed. It would also show Osama's burial at sea-- preceded with Osma being strecthered off a Norwegian cruise-liner. Unless of course he isn't dead, and Donald Trump has him at Guantanemo Bay, with Osama's testicles wired to a car-battery; that's to teach him a lesson, they haven't started questioning him yet. Or he's working at a chippy with Elvis and Lord Lucan somewhere in Rochdale.

{iii} Or Daily Maul and Metro types, as they are otherwise known.

{v} David Cameron is refusing to release photographs, to confirm that Nick Clegg is dead.

Annual horribilis

First of all...
"Wesolych swiat bozego narodzenia" to Tomasz and all my readers.

There was a programme on the other night, called Comedy Annual 2010, presented by that well-known comedian Philip Schofield-- our Tomasz featured. Sadly the script let him down badly, as much as I like Schofer. Firstly he claimed the weather was too much "for an over-worked weatherman". Overworked as The Schaf may have been, it was actually a cheeky (and supposedly off-camera) response to Simon Coy's waggish words.

Then Schofer mused that Tomasz (with his middle finger), was showing us how much snow we were going to get. Except the incident happened in August; even in these days of global-warming, we don't usually get snow in the middle summer. Ah well Pip, you did the best you could. Perhaps in the futre, it would be best to leave such shows to family-friendly comics, such as Frankie Boyle.

Anyway enough of *that* incident, a message from His Lovliness:
Wanted to wish you all a good Christmas. Keep watching BBC Weather for all the latest on this crazy winter...come rain, snow, ice, hail or shine!
I, myself, will be away for the festivities. Recently, I've been somewhat under the weather so I've only been popping on the box every now and then. In the meantime there's always Twitter...Happy Holidays All!

Szczęśliwego nowego roku to all, let's hope 2011 is a little better than this year. I also hope 2011 will be a bright dawn for Tomasz.

Finally, some preparation of you have elderly relatives visiting...

Tomasz pumps in

I'm pleased to say Tomasz is back after a few days absence, dived in straightaway with a bit of McCoy-baiting today. Simon announced Tomasz's arrival in an oddly silted fashion, which Tomasz cheekily immitated.

However Tomasz's glory was short-lived, since he accidentally referred to northern Scotland as northern England... oops, he'll upset them again! No doubt some precious folk will be already assembling a wicker man in Ullapool, and SNP politicians will be foaming upon hearing this 'transgression' {i}.

Personally I don't mind, since Tomasz said that "rain showers will be pumping in", which disturbingly got me excited-- he even talked about "sprinkles" on News At One. Sophie Raworth hinted that Tomasz may be thinking about his summer holidays, and Tomasz agreed. Never mind, this is the sort of weather warning I like...

Thanks to Terratec365 for the following...

{i} Reminds me of that Frankie Boyle gag: "Least Alex Salmond looks Scottish. He looks as though he has the cholestrol level of a fried egg, and his heart beats twice an hour". So give Frankie a hard time, and leave The Schaf alone.
