Season's greetings,
Firstly it has been brought to my attention {i} that The Schaf appeared on a Channel 4 documentary a few days, called Is Our Weather Getting Worse?
Eyeballs at the ready, because you can watch it here for a period. Once you've got past the adverts, Tomasz appears at 29:13

In a way our weather gets better. Guess who may well turn on BBC *national* news next week, fresh from Tunbridge Wells?
{i} Thanks to Mike and Matt; not Stock and Aitkin before you ask

Nationwide
BBC Southeast couldn't contain Tomasz for long: The Schaf is to return to BBC national news, hurrah. That will also mean casual Countryfile/Country Tracks, with a bit of luck.
A statement from the man himself:
"I'm really excited to be returning to the Met Office and BBC, I've enjoyed working on some really interesting projects over the last 18 months but I'm pleased to be back working with two of the most respected organisations in the world"
So eyes peeled for His Loveliness on BBC News.
